The territory system is designed to create a dynamic and strategic environment where players can control and defend various capture points within a territory. Taking over a certain amount of capture point will award the Alliance / Group with ownership of the Territory. The system emphasizes resource management, strategic planning, and combat skills.
- Each territory has 16 capture points.
- To initiate a siege, a player must have a territory data pad that allows them it initiate a siege. These datapads are issued by Alliance Leaders only.
- Once a player with within 20km of a capture point and has a specific territory data pad in their ships cargo, a heavily armed station defense grid spawns at the capture point.
- Once a Capture Point is taken there is a 1 hour cooldown before it can be sieged again.
- Only Alliance Leaders can issue a datapad to a player of their choice using the following command
!stc issue subsector <PlayerName>
- Please Note: Currently anyone issued a subsector datapad can siege any territory. Future functionality planned is to have datapads for each Dyson Sphere so that you need a certain datapad in order to be authorized to siege certain territories.
- Datapads are NOT consumed on use.
- Alliance Leaders can revoke datapads from their alliance by using the command
!stc revoke subsectors
- The revoke command will remove ALL datapads of the given type from all players inventories and grids within the sector the command was run. Does not delete from hangered ships
- Dyson Alpha and Beta have siege windows from 3pm to 11pm (-5 GMT) (NA Average Ideal Time)
- Dyson Gamma and Delta have siege windows from 8pm to 4am EST (-5 GMT) which is 3pm to 11pm (GMT) (EU Average Ideal Time)
- Each Sub Territory has 5 Capture Points. You must own at least 60% of these capture points to retain ownership of the Sub Sector Territory which means you must retain ownership of at least 3 of the 5. If you lose more then 3 capture points you will lose your territory. If you own more then 3 capture points you will retake the territory.
- For Example: If you own all 5 capture points and then Alliance A takes 2 of them and Alliance B takes 1 of them, then you will no longer own the minimum of 3 and ownership will go to NPC faction until someone owns at least 3 of the 5. Make sure you take over all 5 so your alliance has a buffer if 1 or 2 are lost.

- The station defense grid is invincible for the first 10 minutes of combat, equipped with a full compliment of weapons.
- After the initial 10 minutes, players can deactivate the grid by either destroying its power sources (batteries, solar panels, reactors etc) or boarding the grid and hitting a central red button.
- Use the command !territory getpoints <TerritoryName>
¶ Control and Timers
- To control a territory, players must hold 60% of the capture points
- Once a capture point is taken, it enters a 1-hour cooldown before it can be retaken by another faction.
- Each combat at a capture point lasts up to one hour. If the attackers fail to capture the point within this time, control reverts to the original owner.
- Entering and sieging capture points requires SC (in-game money). To join a siege of a capture point it will cost 1,500,000sc. (subject to change)
- Controlling capture points and territories involves significant resource management, including the acquisition and use of Dysonite and use of economy system for Gold Pressed Latinum.
- Alliances need to strategically plan their resource usage to maintain control over territories and ensure the continuous operation of their defenses.
¶ Combat and Coordination
- Successful sieges and defense of capture points require coordinated efforts among alliance members.
- Players must balance their offensive and defensive strategies, considering the invincibility period of the station defense grid and the cooldown timers for recapturing points.
- Siege windows are setup for Dyson Sphere Territories. Dyson Alpha and Beta are open to sieges from 3pm to 11pm EST (-5 GMT) and Dyson Sphere Gamma and Delta are open to sieges from 3pm to 11pm GMT.
- Sub Territories do not currently have siege windows.
- Combat at capture points is dynamic and timed, requiring players to efficiently manage their attacks and defenses within the one-hour combat window.
- The use of strategic mobility tools, such as the Quantum Slipstream Drive, can provide significant advantages in rapid response and repositioning during sieges.
- Alliances must work together to manage resources, plan sieges, and defend captured points.
The territory system in the game is a comprehensive and strategically rich feature that enhances gameplay by promoting resource management, coordinated combat, and dynamic control over strategic points. Players and alliances must carefully plan their sieges, manage their resources, and work together to maintain control over territories and capture points. The inclusion of various costs and timers adds complexity and depth, ensuring an engaging and competitive experience for all participants.
