¶ Ship Design Policy
As a Star Trek roleplay (RP) server, ship design plays a significant role in maintaining immersion and adherence to the established lore. Therefore, the following guidelines are established to ensure consistency and authenticity in ship designs:
¶ General Guidelines
Highly Encouraged Aesthetic: It is highly encouraged that most ships resemble or are inspired by the Star Trek universe and its lore in some way. This enhances the RP experience for all players.
NSFW Shaped Ships: Ships with NSFW (Not Safe For Work) shapes are strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.
¶ PvP Ship Restrictions
Ship Shape: PvP ships must not be "BRICKS," "CUBES," or "SPHERES." These shapes not only break our established RP and lore but also disrupt certain gameplay mechanics like shield and hull strength.
Star Trek Inspiration: PvP ships must be based on or inspired by the Star Trek universe. While they do not need to be canon, they must clearly reflect elements of Star Trek in their design.
¶ Additional Notes
Utility/Industrial Ships: Utility and industrial ships are exempt from strict adherence to Star Trek aesthetics.
Meta Ships for PvE: Meta ship shapes may be used for hunting NPCs and engaging in PvE activities.
¶ Reporting Violations
If you suspect a ship violates these guidelines, please open a ticket for further investigation. Similarly, if you are unsure whether your ship design is acceptable, seek clarification through the ticketing system.
